It is a pleasant small park. Very shady. Has a small dog park. Although, in some places was broken glass, many holes in the ground and dog poo.

There is a single tennis court and single pickleball court and basketball basket all in the one fenced area. This can become congested with others ball bouncing out of the opposite courts. There is a ton of trash around the fencing. I suspect kids and homeless hang out in the bushes surrounding the courts given the nature of the trash (beer & Monster Energy cans, cigarette butts, candy bar wrappers, fast food remains….

Former Board of Education property repurposed as a park and Greenway connector from Alton Park to St. Elmo and the River Walk. The socio/economics of this park is just as important as its amenities. My dog enjoys the dog park and then a leashed walk down to the ball field. If there was a public restroom, it was difficult to find and I would give it five stars. Thanks to the City of Chattanooga and volunteers for planning this park during Vision 2000 back in the 1990's.

The courts are well-kept and it's in a nice, shady spot set back from the main road. Had a great time with the gals playing Pickleball.

An excellent outdoor exercise station. The rest of the park is mediocre, old and rundown.
